  • Position Overview

    In this position you will;

     

    • Perform clerical duties required for the efficient operation of the facility
    • Receive, screen, and route documents and correspondence; mails letters
    • Answer telephones, receive and relay messages
    • Maintain personnel and form files
    • Maintain and complete forms and reports required for facility operations. Collect monthly statistical data and submits to appropriate funding sources
    • Monitor the use of facility office supplies and orders same from agency purchasing department on a monthly basis
    • Operate standard office machines and has excellent computer skills
    • Show sensitivity to highly stressed multi-cultural client population
    • Able to collaborate and function as a team member in a multi-faceted, complex crisis intervention environment
    • Manage confidential information in a responsible manner
    • Supervise the Program Aide, including documenting monthly supervisory sessions and completing evaluations in timely manner and submitting them to the Human Resource Department
    • Other duties as requested by Supervisor

     

    Qualifications

    • HS Diploma, GED or Business School Certificate
    • Two years experience in a secretarial position and statistical reporting
    • Typing skills 35-50 w.p.m.
    • Basic writing skills and excellent communication skills
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the domestic violence movement
    • Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint)
