  • Position Overview

    The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and the ability to help with various projects the CFO is involved in. The incumbent te will also have an interest in the not-for-profit industry with a knowledge and interest in Finance.


    • Provide full administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer and the Finance Department including calendar management, answering phones, arranging travel, filing, processing expenses, drafting correspondence and more.
    • Receive and distribute incoming mail; review and evaluate mail to identity those items requiring priority attention of the CFO as well as directing mail to the appropriate divisions within Finance.
    • Track CFO’s internal and external correspondence, including those of a time sensitive nature, related to critical issues from receipt through conclusion.
    • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations for Finance Committee, Board Meetings and ad-hoc meetings.
    • Run and create reports, graphs and charts.
    • Run, create and provide basic analysis of financial statements for internal use (P&Ls, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements).
    • Work closely with the CFO on various projects within the Finance team.
    • Coordinate with the organization’s board to prepare materials
    • Additional ad-hoc projects as they arise


    •  Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Basic knowledge and understanding of financial statements (P&Ls, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements)
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • Analytical ability
    • Personable and proactive
    • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
