  • Position Overview

    The Administrative Assistant will;

     

    • Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing and arranging for deliveries
    • Follows HIPPA Guidelines
    • Answer telephone, screen and route calls, take messages efficiently
    • Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and events, record, transcribe and distribute meeting agenda and minutes
    • Maintain, improve and organize hard copy and electronic filing systems
    • Route incoming and outgoing mail
    • Prepare and edit communications, presentations and other documents
    • Design and maintain databases
    • File and retrieve documents and reference materials
    • Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications
    • Receive and interact with incoming visitors
    • Liaise with internal staff at all levels
    • Interact with external clients
    • Provides timely, accurate and clear documentation according to established policies and procedures
    • Handles unexpected situations by responding effectively to challenges, deadlines and emergencies
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • HSD or equivalent required, associate’s degree preferred
    • A minimum of one year experience in an administrative setting
    • Computer literate in word processing and excellent writing skills
