Services for the UnderServed (SUS) is a New York-based nonprofit organization that provides housing and support services to 25,000 individuals and their families living in New York City and Long Island. SUS believes every New Yorker has the right to lead a life of purpose.

We’re a nonprofit with a staff of 2,400 that provides $200 million in services. Our efforts are supported by various local, state and federal government entities as well as foundations, corporations and individual donors. Under the supervision of the Senior Case Manager, the Case Manager provides case management to individuals and families in need of homeless prevention services. He/she will oversee case management for program participants and their families which include arranging, coordinating, monitoring and preparing and submitting Financial Assistance Requests on behalf of program participants. Advocate on behalf of program participants to ensure they receive work support services such as rental assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, subsidized childcare, etc. Promote linkage with other service providers that will help participants obtain and maintain housing stability.
