  • Position Overview

    Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, provides case management and coordinates client services for this Domestic Violence shelter. The Case Manager will  interview clients using standard case work techniques to determine suitability for services; provides individual and group counseling for clients, maintain clinical records, conduct domestic violence groups; coordinate legal, immigration referral services for clients.. The Case Manager will represent the program at community meetings regarding legal immigration rights of trauma and women’s issues.

    Qualifications

    • A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited institution with a major in social work or related field and at least two years of experience in the field of human services
    • Work experience in the fields of Mental Health, Child Welfare, Child Development or Substance Abuse or other related fields
    • Strong working knowledge of psychodynamics, group work, case work, health systems, group residence, human and child development and women's health issues
    • basic computer skills
