  • Position Overview

    The Program Director will provide supervision and management of the Treatment Team who provide intensive outpatient services consisting of group participation, individual counseling, clean and sober activities. 

     

    CTI Harlem and CTI Bronx are Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Programs that are New York State OASAS 822.4 licensed treatment facilities offering day and evening services to individuals and families with Substance Use Disorders. CTI Bronx offers structured programs and services to help participants find new ways to live fulfilling lives free from drugs and alcohol. The Programs provide intensive outpatient services consisting of group participation, individual counseling, and clean and sober activities. In addition our participants are coached on development and implementation of their personalized recovery plan and goals.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Directs the work of the all clinical and operation staff for a program with a census of over 200 participants
    • Supervises key staff, including hiring, disciplinary actions, scheduling, evaluation, etc.
    • Provide individual individual/group counseling when necessary and facilitate the clinical development of all staff members
    • Participates in the development of all policies and procedures governing the operation of the program
    • Hold bi-monthly staff meetings and distribute minutes
    • Develop and facilitate liaison with and referrals to/from appropriate outside agencies
    • Monitors the program compliance with OASAS NYCRR Part 822 Regulations and engages in quality improvement and assurance activities as directed
    • Monitor program budget and collected revenues
    • Reviews program admissions/discharges and course of treatment to determine acceptable practices are maintained
    • Participates in all training sessions, conferences, and meetings
    • Completes reports and necessary paperwork in a timely fashion

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree
    • Clinical license required LMSW, LMHC or LCSW
    • Minimum of five years’ prior supervisory and management experience with substance abuse/mental health population
