Services for the UnderServed (SUS) is a New York-based nonprofit organization that provides housing and support services to 25,000 individuals and their families living in New York City and Long Island. SUS believes every New Yorker has the right to lead a life of purpose.

We’re a nonprofit with a staff of 2,400 that provides $200 million in services. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of the program or facility during his/her assigned shift. On evening, nights, holidays and weekend shifts, these duties will be expanded to include supervision of all staff.
Provides supervisory oversight and training to residential aides and contracted maintenance staff. Supervision includes, but is not limited to, ongoing individual supervisory meetings; building inspections, ongoing feedback regarding job performance; coordinating work schedules, timesheets and requests for time off; coordinating work assignments; evaluating paperwork and documentation including the Security Log and Maintenance Work Order Log books; coordinating security and maintenance staff training, development and evaluation. May be required to fulfill duties of personnel in their absence.
