The Peer Specialist will be expected to meet with individuals on a monthly basis, document the face to face engagement, including progress notes and other clinical documentation. They will assist with completing apartment inspections, facilitate support groups, accompanies individuals to appointments and actively participates in efforts to improve the organization.

High School Diploma or GED or 1 to 2 years of experience working in a large residential/institutional setting with a special needs population is required.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.
Must have patience, creativity, flexibility, compassion, and sensitivity to persons with mental health and substance use issues and criminal court involvement.
Completion of a treatment program.
