Position Overview

Services for the UnderServed (SUS) is a New York-based nonprofit organization that provides housing and support services to 25,000 individuals and their families living in New York City and Long Island.  SUS believes every New Yorker has the right to lead a life of purpose.

Position Overview:

The Administrative Assistant ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the clerical tasks. Are you looking to jumpstart your Administrative career in a social services environment? The Administrative Assistant will work in one of our treatment programs, assisting the Program Director with mailing, faxes, deliveries, service calls, drills, tracking and filling all vendors list, inspection checklists and work orders.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Minimum two year experience in an office setting is preferred.
  • Computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid New York State Drivers License a plus.
