The Data Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining a governed, analytics-ready data environment within Microsoft Fabric. This role designs and supports modern data pipelines that ingest, transform, and migrate data for enterprise analytics while ensuring high standards of data quality, metadata management, lineage, and cataloging. The Data Engineer plays a key role in establishing trust in data through strong governance practices and clear documentation.
In addition, the role focuses on analytics and BI enablement, including the development and optimization of semantic models and close collaboration with BI teams to support Power BI reporting and self-service analytics. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL and data modeling skills, hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related cloud data platforms, and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-governed data solutions that support the organization’s analytics strategy.
