S:US is seeking an Outreach Specialist for their short term homeless prevention program-Home Base.

Position Overview:
The Outreach Specialist conducts all community outreach in order to provide information and material on
Homebase services to both organizations and prospective clients.
Job Functions:
• Conduct program outreach and community related activities to increase referral base and community
visibility.
• Provide outside presentations to network and further develop referral sources.
• Promote linkages with other service providers that will help participants obtain and maintain housing
stability.
• Participate in community meetings.
• Maintain logs of outreach activities.
• Complete monthly reports as required.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with referral agencies.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and outside events as assigned by Program
Supervisor.
• Obtain new housing resources for Homebase clients within an appropriate timeframe as set by
Program Supervisor.
• Update resource book.
